Amazing Sri Lanka Elmbridge Handicap Chase

Upped his game further last term with victories at Doncaster and this C&D around the turn of the year. Mixed record after but possibly needed the run after 7 months off at Kempton 3 weeks ago.

Useful chaser who won 5 times during 2021/22 and outclassed the opposition in a brace of novice hurdles last summer. Built on comeback run when decent fourth back over fences at Worcester but disappointed at Uttoxeter when last seen in July.

Point/bumper winner who won 3 wins of his 6 starts over hurdles last season. Decent start over fences off what looked a stiff opening mark when third at Carlisle on return and entitled to build on that.

Took advantage of reduced mark when recording a first win over fences at Lingfield in December. Similar form when runner-up next 2 starts and last 2 runs 6 months apart probably best excused.

Fair form in a couple of juvenile hurdles and took a step forward on chasing debut when winning at Compiegne. Positive start for this yard when second of 4 in novice chase at Cheltenham (15.9f, good, 10/3) on return 16 days ago and needs considering off a fair opening mark. Tongue strap back on.

Dual juvenile hurdle winner in 2021/22 who got back to winning ways in a Fontwell handicap (19.2f) in May. Excellent start over fences when second at Huntingdon on return 2 weeks ago, clear of rest, and surely has more to offer as a chaser.
