Took his form up a notch when back to winning ways in 11-runner handicap hurdle at Exeter in February. Disappointed at Haydock subsequently but chasing is likely to bring more out of him. Worth chancing to make a winning return.
Made the frame both completed starts in Irish points and stepped up on previous hurdling efforts when second at Newbury 7 months ago. Should take to this discipline, so merits respect.
Made a winning start over fences at Fontwell in August but pulled up in handicap chase at Southwell (24.3f, good to soft) 36 days ago, folding tamely. Has an experience edge over his rivals but needs to bounce back.
Emphatic winner over hurdles at Fakenham in February but wasn't in the same form at Warwick 8 months ago. Yard isn't really firing but he's a chasing type on looks.
Fair hurdler who was in form when last seen and should be tuned up for this first crack at chasing. Not discounted.
Successful on sole outing in Irish points and was getting his act together over hurdles towards the end of last season, opening his account in a novice at Fontwell when last seen 6 months ago. Looks a player on first go over fences.
Got off the mark at Bangor (23f) over hurdles last October and generally respectable efforts since. Has the physique for chasing, so not discounted on return.
Bumper winner in 2021 but just fair form at best over hurdles and was out of sorts when last seen. Bit to prove on chasing debut.

Forecasts
Hurlerontheditch (11/4), Rockinastorm (4/1), Hot Rod Lincoln (4/1), Farmer's Gamble (11/2), Howaya Now (6/1), Betterforeveryone (10/1), Pachacuti (12/1), Tango Echo Charlie (40/1)
FARMER'S GAMBLE is a chasing type on looks and should be well tuned up for this return, so he gets the marginal vote in an open-looking race. Hot Rod Lincoln is also the type to do better in this sphere, so he's feared most ahead of Howaya Now.

- Howaya Now6/1
