Irish bumper winner who made an impressive start to hurdling at this course in March. Bled at Newcastle next time but worth a chance to get back to winning ways after 5 months off.

Ocovango gelding who showed plenty in bumpers and made a winning start to hurdling despite racing freely in a 9-runner novice at Kelso a month ago. Should go well under a penalty.

Fair maiden handicapper on Flat for Keith Dalgleish and ran to a similar level in getting off the mark immediately switched to hurdles at Perth in August. Poor effort at Hexham 3 weeks later but remains with potential.

Showed modest form in 2 maidens on the Flat for A. Slattery and ran to a similar level sent hurdling in a tongue strap after 13 months off when third in 7-runner maiden at Perth. Disappointed at Market Rasen next time and has plenty to find.

Revived by application of blinkers when landing back-to-back handicaps at Ayr this summer but lost his form and has shaped like a non-stayer on both hurdling outings to date.

QUARESOME's last effort is best excused and he'd looked highly promising prior to that, so he's well worth another chance. Slugger looks a threat on the back of a comfortable winning start over hurdles and Belle of Annandale isn't one to write off.
