Modest maiden on the Flat for Brian Meehan and no immediate promise over hurdles for new yard when eighth of 12 at Kempton last month.
Modest at best on Flat and didn't achieve much when a remote third on his completed start over hurdles.
Fair maiden on the Flat for Michael Bell who made a solid yard/hurdling debut when second of 8 in juvenile at Uttoxeter (2m, good) in July. Best of those with hurdle experience.
Castle Du Berlais gelding. Half-brother to fairly useful French chaser Kapeloi and fair French hurdler Perpetuel Movment. Stable had a newcomer finish a promising second in a similar race at Wincanton recently so a market move for this one could prove significant.
Probably didn't achieve that much when second in a claiming hurdle in France in September and well beaten in a Kempton juvenile on his British debut 16 days ago. Has a hood added now.
12/1, weakened to finish ninth of 15 in bumper at Exeter (13f, soft) on debut 14 days ago. Makes a quick switch to hurdles.
Fairly useful maiden on the Flat who made the frame in all 4 starts this term. In good hands and will be dangerous if taking to this discipline.
Half-brother to 3 winners, including very smart hurdler/useful chase winner Saldier. Dam maiden on Flat. One to note in the betting on debut.
Has merely hinted at ability in various company so far.

Forecasts
Royal Deeside (13/8), Climate Precedent (11/4), Excelero (11/2), Salver (9/1), Ceejaybe (14/1), Kauto Kawai (16/1), Bridge (18/1), Northern Rose (25/1), Marrakushi (40/1)
Although ROYAL DEESIDE failed to win on the Flat he did achieve a decent level and gets the nod to make a successful start to his hurdle career for Alan King. Climate Precedent rates an obvious danger on the back of his hurdle debut second in the summer. Excelero and Salver are newcomers who would enter the reckoning if the betting suggests they are fancied.
