C&D winner but he has been off for 7 months since coming in last of 4 in handicap hurdle at Taunton (23.9f, heavy). Needs to hit the ground running on his reappearance.

Irish points winner who also landed a 23f maiden hurdle at Worcester in July. Cut little ice on both subsequent starts there in handicaps but may still do better with few miles on the clock.

SCAMALLACH LIATH shaped well without getting his head in front for Oliver Sherwood last term and is fancied to capitalise on a lenient mark now starting out for Harry Derham. The Imposter enjoyed a fine campaign last season when going in no less than six times and this C&D winner is feared most on his return ahead of in-form duo Halligator and Ben Lilly.
