Half-brother to 4 winners, including bumper winner/useful hurdler Martello Sky. Winner of a bumper here (15.8f, soft) on Boxing Day and it may have simply been a 'bad day at the office' when well held next time. Tongue strap enlisted for this hurdles/yard debut and he needs considering.

Blue Bresil gelding. Half-brother to fairly useful hurdler Late Night Lily and out of a bumper/2m-19f hurdle winner (stayed 21f). One of three representing his yard and the betting should be revealing in terms of the pecking order.

Impressive winner on sole start in points and displayed fairly useful form when placed all 3 outings in bumpers last season. Upped in trip for hurdles debut and that seems sure to suit on pedigree. Major player.

Half-brother to a couple of Flat winners and made a positive start when runner-up in a Warwick bumper (2m, heavy) back in March. Seemingly the stable first-string judged on jockey bookings and this stiffer test should be in his favour now switched to hurdles.

Fetched £40,000 after finishing second in a 2½m maiden point in January and while only two completed in that race, the form has been boosted by the winner who recently landed a novice hurdle at Carlisle. Tongue strap added for this Rules debut.

Half-brother to useful hurdler/chaser Birchdale and fairly useful 21f hurdle winner Sonny Crockett. Inexperience proved his undoing when chasing home one form the Nicky Henderson yard on debut in a Worcester bumper (2m, good to soft) in May and he's of strong interest now switched to hurdles.

Winner of sole completed start between the flags, but made an inauspicious start over hurdles when last in a 4-runner C&D maiden earlier this month.

ONEWAYWEST was strong in the betting ahead of his promising Rules debut second in a Worcester bumper during the spring and, with improvement on the cards now sent hurdling and faced with a stiffer test, he could be the answer. Doc McCoy showed plenty in a trio of bumpers last season and is feared most ahead of Billy Boi Blue, who was presumably not 100% when last seen in February and is probably better judged on his bumper success here.
