Displayed a fair level of form on 2 of his 3 starts in maiden hurdles but failed to improve for switch to handicaps during the spring, losing touch some way out when ninth of 14 over 21f at Warwick in May. Betting may prove the best guide now chasing.

Reached the frame in 2 bumpers and fair form at best over hurdles, best effort when third on qualifying run at Newcastle (20.3f) in January. Mixed bag in trio of starts thereafter but certainly not one to dismiss out of hand now chasing on return to action.

Three-time winner in 2021-22 who quickly dispelled a lesser effort returned to positive tactics when second of 8 in a C&D handicap back in May. Cheekpieces worn then again reached for here and his chase experience edge/good record here should count for plenty.

Showed plenty of ability both starts in bumpers and looked on a fair opening mark when third on handicap hurdle debut at Warwick (19f) back in May. Goes chasing now back from 6 months off and the betting may well prove a useful guide.

Flat-bred gelding who made it eighth time lucky over hurdles when landing 7-runner Newton Abbot handicap (18.5f) 4 weeks ago, making all. Fact he arrives in good heart a plus now chasing so one to consider.

Point winner who reached the frame in maiden/novice hurdles around 2m this summer. His 19.5f Bangor handicap debut last month was disappointing, though. Chase debut.

Maiden Irish pointer who showed improved form when making all in a novice handicap hurdle at Kelso (22.5f) in December. Surpassed that form in defeat next 2 starts and likely he'll strip fitter for his reappearance effort over hurdles at Carlisle 11 days ago. Chase debut.

The betting promises to prove informative with six of the seven making their chase debuts but KANKIN boasted a steadily progressive profile for one at this level over hurdles and he could just be worth chancing to come out on top without the benefit of market clues. The Olly Murphy trained pair Foxey and Out The Glen head up the dangers, with Star Flyer another to keep an eye on.
