Well prepared to make a winning bumper debut at Carlisle in March 2021 and ran at least as well in defeat over C&D just over a year later. Off a further 19 months but still needs a close look on hurdle debut.
Related to a couple of winners and made the perfect start to career when scoring in a Carlisle bumper in March. Found it tougher under a penalty at Hexham but is very much bred for the NH game.
Modest in bumpers and ran to a similar level when third on Sligo hurdling debut back in July 2021. Pulled up after a clumsy display at Cork 3 weeks later and probably needed the run returning for a new yard after 27 months off when well held at Sedgefield recently. Tongue strap on for 1st time.
Cost plenty but offered little in a Worcester bumper on debut 12 months ago.
€14,000 3-y-o, Mount Nelson gelding. Dam, well held in bumper, half-sister to fairly useful hurdler/chaser (2m-2¾m winner) Cruchain. Newcomer from top northern stable.
Showed nothing in 5 hurdle starts last season. Significantly back down in trip.
Showed improved form when second of 11 at Perth (16.2f, soft) on his final run in bumpers in April. Should have a future over jumps.
Low-key start but was steadily finding her feet towards the end of last season, shaping well in a warmish race on her handicap debut over C&D prior to not being seen to best effect at Perth. Should have more to offer this season.

Forecasts
Rob Roy Macgregor (5/4), Iorangi De L'isle (7/4), Old Gregorian (10/3), Lacila Blue (9/2), Doyen Du Bar (6/1), Wainwright (15/2), Skiddaw (25/1), The Foreman (33/1), Ruleout (125/1), Halfway House Lad (150/1)
Winning-pointer IORANGI DE L'ISLE has a good pedigree and shouldn't lack for fitness, so he's taken to make a successful start under Rules for a yard that seems to be finding form again. Rob Roy Macgregor is a bumper scorer who's bred for the NH game, while Lacila Blue should have further improvement in her this season.
