17/2

Fairly useful hurdler who has quickly made into an even better chaser, winning maiden at Limerick in May and competitive handicap at Galway in August. No match for sole rival Salvador Ziggy in novice at Killarney 9 weeks ago and likely to come up short again here.

Broadway Boy²⁹

Age: 5| Weight: 11-7| J: N de Boinville| T: N & W Twiston-Davies| OR: 137| CD

11/4

Rangy sort who proved progressive over hurdles last term, career best display when gaining his third success from 7 starts at this venue (3m) in April. Made an impressive winning return/chasing debut at Worcester (23f, soft) recently and he's open to further progress.

Form: 14U11-1

Flooring Porter^t¹⁶¹

Age: 8| Weight: 11-2| J: Keith Donoghue| T: G P Cromwell| CD

6/4

Dual Stayers' Hurdle winner at the festival but unable to complete a hat-trick of wins in that race this year when fourth. Finished third a month later in Liverpool Hurdle at Aintree and last seen down the field at Auteuil 5 months ago. Fancied to make his mark sent chasing under a new pilot.

Form: 2/4443-9

Weveallbeencaught¹⁹⁷

Age: 6| Weight: 11-2| J: Sam Twiston-Davies| T: N & W Twiston-Davies| OR: 135| C| D

9/4

Added to his bumper success when scoring over hurdles at this track on New Year's Day but hasn't really built on that, pulled up in the Sefton well last seen in April. Is a point winner, so this switch to the larger obstacles could well have a positive effect.

Forecasts

Flooring Porter (6/4), Weveallbeencaught (9/4), Broadway Boy (11/4), Toss Again (17/2)

Plenty of intrigue despite the small field and it's dual Stayers' Hurdle hero FLOORING PORTER who is selected to make a winning chasing debut teaming up with Keith Donoghue for the first time. Nigel Twiston-Davies saddles a couple and it's Weveallbeencaught who gets the nod over stablemate Broadway Boy for the forecast spot.
