MERISI DIAMOND fared much the best of those drawn low in the big-field C&D event won by Blue Peak a couple of weeks ago, suggesting he has a race in him from his basement mark. Blue Peak should go well again, as should Breezy Zoff who was second in that race a fortnight ago and won this last year. Last week's Gowran scorer Angel On Fire also makes the shortlist.
