Low-mileage sort who did remarkably well to overcome a bad error to open his chase account over C&D in February. Found out in Grade 2 company next time but quickly back to winning ways in 4-runner Market Rasen handicap. Excellent close second over C&D when last seen in May and remains of interest.
Likeable, versatile campaigner who resumed winning ways in 5-runner handicap chase at Bangor (17.4f, good), going with enthusiasm. Close third at Newton Abbot since and should be in the mix again.
Back from 4 months off and enhanced his fine record at Wincanton with another victory in handicap in February. Folded tamely next time but has a good record fresh so worthy of interest.
Upped his game further this term with victories at Doncaster and Sandown around the turn of the year. Mixed record after but eased 3 lb and is back down in class on return.
Veteran campaigner who enhanced his fine Kempton record when winning this race off 1 lb lower and followed up here 7 months later under a typically fluent front-running display. Below best all 4 starts since but no surprise to see him bounce back returned to this venue.
Improved sent chasing last season, winner of first 2 completed starts before resuming winning ways at Perth final start. Probably has more to offer still so high on the shortlist.
Low-key start over fences last season but got the hang of things for a ready success at Wincanton (15.7f). Followed up at Southwell final start in April and remains unexposed.

Jay Jay Reilly (5/2), Corrigeen Rock (7/2), Bourbali (7/2), Thelasthighking (9/2), Flic Ou Voyou (7/1), El Borracho (8/1), Xcitations (8/1), Mercian Prince (12/1)
Plenty to consider with the vote going to CORRIGEEN ROCK, who is probably the one open to the most improvement still. Jay Jay Reilly and Thelasthighking head the dangers.
