Failed to trouble the judge in a handful of runs between the flags and showed nothing on recent Rules debut at Uttoxeter.

Brother to fairly useful hurdler/chaser Silva Eclipse, but there were very few positives to take from his Bangor debut 15 days ago.

Down Royal bumper winner in 2021 and made it fourth time lucky over hurdles in 20.4f Sligo maiden in August, making all. Solid third in a Listowel handicap since and this Irish raider could take some catching back down in trip here if allowed her own way in front.

Half-brother to unbeaten Champion Hurdler Constitution Hill and made a winning start to his career in a Huntingdon (15.8f, good to soft) bumper during the spring. Has the makings of a potentially useful novice hurdler. Tongue strap applied.

Fetched €45,000 as a 3-y-o and boasts a decent jumps pedigree, albeit one which suggests that he may require a stiffer test before long.

Modest form in a couple of bumpers and safely held starting out over hurdles at Uttoxeter 11 days ago.

Clear signs of ability when sixth in an 8-runner Newcastle novice (16.9f, good) on debut in May, probably not helped by the muddling nature of that race (took a strong hold). Likely to do better in handicaps further down the line.

Unplaced in points, but looked good when winning all 3 starts in bumpers last season. Turned over when odds on for hurdles debut at Warwick (2m, good to soft) on latest start in May and while he's almost certainly capable of better, a stiffer test would probably be ideal.

Brother to useful dual-bumper winner Lunar Discovery and showed a fair level of ability in that sphere when runner-up under contrasting conditions at Newbury and Stratford last term. Could have a part to play on hurdles debut if his jumping passes the test.

Beaten a fair way both starts between the flags and likewise starting out under Rules in a 16.2f Hexham novice in May. However, he did catch the eye that day (encountered traffic problems at a crucial stage) and likely to leave that form well behind in time.

Well held in pair of bumpers and similar story in maiden hurdles at Perth and Kelso this year.

Forecasts

Supremely West (7/4), Land Genie (5/2), Fizzle Rock (7/2), Titan Discovery (4/1), Nab Wood (20/1), Mr Hope Street (33/1), Lord Denning (50/1), Mademewhatiam (80/1), Kurphy (150/1), Fat Harry (200/1), Captain Copper (250/1)

Verdict

The vote goes to Irish-raider FIZZLE ROCK, who proved that her Sligo maiden success was no flash in the pan when finishing third in an 11-runner mares' handicap at Listowel last month. Dropping back in trip on this stiff track will, if anything, be in her favour and she will take some pegging back. Bumper-winner Land Genie is of strong interest now switched to hurdles and is feared most ahead of Supremely West and Titan Discovery.
