Brother to useful dual-bumper winner Lunar Discovery and showed a fair level of ability in that sphere when runner-up under contrasting conditions at Newbury and Stratford last term. Could have a part to play on hurdles debut if his jumping passes the test.

Beaten a fair way both starts between the flags and likewise starting out under Rules in a 16.2f Hexham novice in May. However, he did catch the eye that day (encountered traffic problems at a crucial stage) and likely to leave that form well behind in time.

Well held in pair of bumpers and similar story in maiden hurdles at Perth and Kelso this year.

The vote goes to Irish-raider FIZZLE ROCK, who proved that her Sligo maiden success was no flash in the pan when finishing third in an 11-runner mares' handicap at Listowel last month. Dropping back in trip on this stiff track will, if anything, be in her favour and she will take some pegging back. Bumper-winner Land Genie is of strong interest now switched to hurdles and is feared most ahead of Supremely West and Titan Discovery.
