Top Decision^t³⁵

Age: 10| Weight: 11-8| J: Ned Fox⁽⁵⁾| T: S Drinkwater| OR: 92

9/2

Sole success over fences came well over 3 years ago and has only raced 6 times since, posting respectable fifth of 10 in handicap chase at Hexham (24.2f, good, 16/1) 35 days ago. Entitled to come on for that but others more appealing.

Form: 4/26U4-5

Oceans Red^p,t¹⁴⁴

7/2

Three-time winner over fences with his latest success coming in this race by a wide margin last year off 7 lb lower. Ridden too aggressively when fifth at Bangor (24f, good) when last seen in May. Needs considering in re-fitted tongue tie/on the back of a wind op.

Form: 3312P-5

Humps And Bumps^p³⁵

Age: 10| Weight: 10-11| J: Henry Brooke| T: D Brooke| OR: 81

7/2

On a lengthy losing run but has found some consistency since her wind operation this summer, latest when fourth of 10 in handicap chase at Hexham (24.2f, good, 13/2) 35 days ago. Others appeal more for the win.

Form: 6P-4334

Reign Suepreme^p⁴⁰

Age: 8| Weight: 10-6| J: Shane Quinlan⁽³⁾| T: Mrs N S Evans| OR: 76

7/2

Point winner but is a long-standing maiden under Rules. Close up when unseating 3 out at Stratford (27.5f) but remote third at Fontwell since.

Form: 3-53PU3

Lough Salt^p¹¹

Age: 12| Weight: 10-2| J: Sean Quinlan| T: P Winks| OR: 72

9/2

Successful twice in 3m Doncaster handicap chases in early-2022 but form patchy since, well held at Market Rasen latest.

Forecasts

Whataboutyeh (6/4), Reign Suepreme (7/2), Humps And Bumps (7/2), Oceans Red (7/2), Lough Salt (9/2), Top Decision (9/2), Fiston Du Mou (10/1)

OCEANS RED has had excuses on his last 2 starts and won this by a wide margin last year, so could be the answer. Whataboutyeh looks the type to resume progress back from a break and is a clear next best ahead of Top Decision.
