Winner of 3 Plumpton handicap chases in cheekpieces/visor at up to to 25.7f last term, the latest off 7 lb lower in February. Made hard work of things when second in a 4-runner race there the following month, though, and blinkers now given another try. Well held both previous starts here.

Won 2 of his 3 starts over hurdles (both at Fakenham) last term prior to switching to fences. Successful on second of his two completed starts in this sphere, landing a 9-runner Bangor handicap (20.3f, good to firm) when last seen in April, and it's likely that he has more to offer as a chaser.
Hurdles winner who improved when sent chasing last season, scoring on his return at Kempton (3m, good) prior to making the frame in handicaps at Exeter and Taunton. However, he resumes here with something to prove having performed poorly on his last 2 starts.
Has never been one for maximum faith but has hit the target at this course 3 times this year, the latest gained over C&D last month. However, 4 lb rise could leave this veteran vulnerable in what looks a stronger race, for all that he clearly likes it round here.
Three chase wins for Fergal O'Brien in 2022 and performed well, despite some sloppy jumping, when second in a 4-runner affair at Worcester (23f, good) in June. Little impact both starts over hurdles for present yard and now tried in more severe headgear on first run following a wind op.
Quiet start over fences last season but improved when going close at Fontwell in April before winning twice the following month, latterly back at Fontwell (21.6f, good to firm). 4 lb rise fair enough and will be a threat if ready to roll. Has undergone a wind op.

Jigginstown King (2/1), Minella Buster (3/1), Allo Allo (3/1), Sublime Heights (17/2), Aviewtosea (9/1), Steel Wave (9/1), Milan Bridge (12/1)
Easily the most appealing of these is ALLO ALLO, who possesses the potential to develop into a useful chaser judged on what he showed in 3 starts in this sphere last term. The 7-y-o did the job well when opening his account over fences at Bangor in April, for which a 6 lb rise is fair. The hat-trick seeking Jigginstown King is likely to emerge as the main threat given that Sublime Heights, though talented, now looks a shade too high in the weights and hasn't won away from Plumpton under Rules.
