Horse A-Z
Third of 7 in bumper (15/8) at this C&D (good to soft) on NH debut 57 days ago. Should improve for that initial experience and looks a strong player.

Eliot gelding. Dam, modest maiden hurdler, 1½m winner on Flat. Bred to have enough speed for this sort of test, so worthy of a market check.

Timeform
Shirocco gelding. Dam behind in bumpers/poor form over hurdles. Not all that interesting on paper.

£1,000 4-y-o, Valirann gelding. Dam unraced sister to bumper winner/smart chaser (stayed 25f) Buckers Bridge. Last of 4 finishers sole outing in point (Apr 22). Hard to fancy.

€10,000 3-y-o, £75,000 4-y-o, Kingston Hill gelding. Half-brother to modest 2m hurdle winner Roisins Ciara. Dam (h91) lightly raced in bumpers/over hurdles. Runner-up both starts in Irish points (latest Apr 9). Worth a chance to make a successful Rules debut.

Mount Nelson filly. Half-sister to bumper winner Finnthemagician. Dam (h127) bumper/2m/17f hurdle winner (stayed 21f). Notable newcomer.

Timeform
€5,000 3-y-o, Jukebox Jury filly. Dam, ran once over hurdles, half-sister to fairly useful hurdler (21f winner) Amrons Sage. Fell sole start in Irish points (Apr 21). Others more appealing.

Forecasts

Al Kalila (13/8), Tommys Law (11/4), Backdoorflush (4/1), Bogleyburn (8/1), Ballysax Hank (12/1), Tankardstown Diva (16/1), Boris The Underdog (20/1)

Verdict

TOMMYS LAW was picked up for £75,000 after finishing runner-up on both point starts and he's worth a chance to make a successful debut under Rules. His stablemate Backdoorflush makes plenty of appeal on pedigree and Al Kalila is an obvious player having finished third over C&D on debut a couple of months ago.
