Fleur In The Park

13/8

Walk In The Park gelding. Half-brother to smart hurdler/fairly useful chaser Zurekin, stays 21f, and bumper winner Marie Philippe. Plenty to recommend him on paper.

12/1

Thrice-raced maiden. 28/1, seventh of 8 in bumper at Galway (16f, soft) 50 days ago. Others make more appeal.

Form: 427

On The Steel

Age: 4| Weight: 11-10| J: Mr F Maguire| T: C O'Dwyer

15/2

Mount Nelson gelding. Half-brother to 19f bumper winner Eco Pete and a point winner. Makes some appeal on pedigree.

Form:

9/2

Once-raced maiden. 10/1, third of 8 in bumper at Ballinrobe (16f, good to soft) on NH debut 10 days ago. Solid claims on the back of that positive start.

Form: 3

Calendar House⁷³

11/1

Once-raced maiden. 7/2, eighth of 14 in bumper at Cork (16.9f, good to soft) on NH debut 73 days ago. More required but clearly thought capable of better.

14/1

Once-raced maiden. Sixth of 13 in bumper at Kilbeggan (15.1f, good to soft, 22/1) on NH debut 158 days ago. Could do better, so not completely dismissed.

Forecasts

Fleur In The Park (13/8), D'jo Dela Barriere (10/3), Prove Yourself (9/2), Glens Lullaby (5/1), On The Steel (15/2), Calendar House (11/1), Fort Randall (12/1), Paddy Elvis (12/1), Royal Cave (14/1), Stellar Jury (25/1)

GLENS LULLABY is related to a bumper winner and hails from a shrewd operation, so she's worth chancing to make a winning start if the market speaks in her favour. Fellow newcomer Fleur In The Park is a danger and Prove Yourself is the clear pick of those with experience.
