Thirteen runs since last win in 2022. 50/1, ninth of 13 in handicap at Ayr (8f, heavy) 48 days ago, making little impression. Mark has eased further but others arrive with more pressing claims.

Dual winner at Southwell (7f) earlier this year and shaping up well in trio of handicaps at Ayr before a lesser display at Carlisle (7.9f) 17 days ago. However, bounce back not ruled out from this career-low mark.

Just the one win from 21 Flat runs but he again ran respectably when fourth of 9 in minor event at Catterick (7f, good) 18 days ago. Should give another good account with the visor replacing cheekpieces.

C&D winner. Twelve runs since last win in 2022. 7/2, bit below form fifth of 13 in minor event at Catterick (7f, good) 40 days ago. Cheekpieces back on. Has good chance on pick of form.

Coulsty filly who is related to several winners but yet to beat a rival in trio of novice/maiden events on AW/turf spread over 5 months, latterly in 13-runner event at Newbury (10f) in July. Still, switch to handicaps a plus from basement mark and progress not ruled out.
|
Thirteenth of 18 in handicap (66/1) at Redcar (6f, good to firm) 22 days ago, weakening from 2f out. Blinkers reached for now.

Forecasts
Spartakos (9/4), Doomsday (7/2), Turbo Command (4/1), Kalama Sunrise (11/2), Rogue Force (11/2), Amerrone (8/1), Indian Outlaw (14/1)
Plenty of these hold few secrets and it could just pay to take a chance on a handicap debutante in the shape of KALAMA SUNRISE. Ultimately well beaten all 3 starts in novice company, she should find this sort of assignment much more suitable from a low opening mark and it would come as no surprise to see her do better. Spartakos and Doomsday head the dangers, with Turbo Command another not out of things.
