Second foal. Dam lightly raced in bumpers/once-raced hurdles, herself a half-sister to bumper winner Gaillimh A Chroi out of fairly useful 2½m hurdle winner Burnt Out. Probably more one for the longer term.

Forecasts

Nt Field Minnesota (9/4), Fathom Two (7/2), Yeats Star (4/1), Gone For Tea (9/2), Bayonetta (6/1), Figurehead (12/1), All Ways And Ever (22/1), Willie The Coo (33/1), Sally's Cave (66/1), Zaghraf (100/1), Princess Lily (150/1)

Verdict

NT FIELD MINNESOTA failed to measure up to market expectations on her Rules debut in a Tramore bumper last month, but she may well be seen in a better light now tackling hurdles. Willie Mullins' charge is marginally preferred to Fathom Five, who didn't do much wrong when third in a C&D novice recently and he needs considering. Gone For Tea is worth a second look given what he showed in bumpers, while Bayonetta is also shortlisted.
