Fairly useful at best on the Flat but looks to have been brought along gradually in a trio of starts over hurdles for his current yard, making mistakes when fourth of 7 in novice at Huntingdon in April. Improvement required now handicapping (has had a wind op).

Verdict

RAKHINE STATE gained a first success over fences at this course last time and he remains on a workable mark as he reverts to hurdling. He is taken to enhance his trainer's excellent strike rate at this course, with Well Planted feared most having been in good form at this C&D of late. Inca Prince is also interesting off his current mark.
