Bounced back from a couple of lesser efforts over hurdles when adding to his tally at Warwick (25f, good to firm) in May. Similar form without threatening in a couple of chase tries since but mark is easing and lively ground will hold no fears. Cheekpieces on 1st time.

Went through a lull initially this summer but mark eased as a result and he finally took advantage when taking 7-runner Cartmel handicap chase (25.5f) 12 days ago, typically making hard work of things. Wouldn't be an obvious follow-up candidate on this much quicker ground, however.

Bumper winner who didn't progress over hurdles but more like it switched to chasing for Nicky Henderson landing handicaps at Worcester/here in recent months. Joined new yard for £18,000 in August and he's not out of things now his stamina is tested further.
|
Doubled his tally over hurdles at Worcester last summer. Last of 4 on chase debut at that venue in July but he did shape better than bare result when fourth back over hurdles at Market Rasen (23f) last month. Visor refitted back over larger obstacles.
|
Showed benefit of a wind op at second attempt and ended long losing run in the process in 9-runner Perth handicap chase (23.8f) 5 weeks ago. knuckling down to reel in the irresolute runner-up. Raised only 1 lb and he can't be ruled out.
|
Back on the scoreboard at Worcester (23f) in June and similar form when second at Stratford (22.5f) on penultimate start. Latest Fontwell effort was underwhelming though, and he does need to confirm his stamina for this longer trip.
|
Modest winner over hurdles earlier in career. Minor promise on third start over fences at Tramore in June but proved disappointing back over hurdles in a Roscommon claimer (20f) 59 days ago. Returns to chasing on debut for new yard and market best guide.

Forecasts
Biowavego (11/4), Fairlawn Flyer (3/1), Swapped (10/3), Ecossais (9/2), Moon King (13/2), Dindin (14/1), Massons Castle (66/1)
Successful over hurdles at Warwick in May, BIOWAVEGO hasn't been disgraced either start over fences subsequently and, returned to this forecast quicker ground, he could be the answer. The hat-trick seeking Swapped and Moon King head up the dangers, in what rates a tricky puzzle.
