10/3

Becoming well treated and took a step back in the right direction when fifth at Chepstow last month. Slowly into stride and never able to land a blow at Windsor but this is a much easier assignment.

(3)

Anglo Saxson²¹

Age: 6| Weight: 9-13| J: Tommie Jakes⁽⁵⁾| T: P Owens| OR: 65| CD

7/2

Enhanced excellent Yarmouth record on reappearance and just about better than ever for latest win over C&D 3 weeks ago. Up 4 lb but clearly in excellent heart.

Form: 5-15431

(6)

Havana Goldrush^b⁶

Age: 4| Weight: 9-11| J: Olivia Tubb| T: J S Moore| OR: 63| D

9/2

Stood up well to a busy campaign, winning brace of 1m handicaps amongst several other excellent efforts. Stuck to his pretty well over C&D last week and he's below his last successful mark.

Form: 685834

(5)

Uncle Dick¹⁷

Age: 5| Weight: 9-7| J: Mia Nicholls| T: Eve Johnson Houghton| OR: 59| D

10/3

All the better for reappearance when lading 9-runner handicap at Brighton (8f, good, 5/1) 17 days ago, cashing on a drop in class. 2 lb rise could be lenient.

Form: 7064-91

(7)

Blue Collar Lad¹⁵

Age: 4| Weight: 9-6| J: Joe Leavy| T: R Brisland| OR: 58| D

33/1

Latest win at Lingfield in June with cheekpieces re-fitted but unable to continue the good work in a trio of outings since.

Form: 901757

(4)

Racing Demon²²

Age: 3| Weight: 9-2| J: Liam Wright| T: E De Giles| OR: 59| CD

6/1

Won back-to-back 1m handicaps in June, latterly at this venue. 5/2, good second of 8 in handicap at this C&D 22 days ago, despite being slowly away. Can give a good account.

Form: 231172

(2)

Island Native¹⁵

Age: 3| Weight: 8-13| J: Emilie Hasselbalch-Holm⁽⁷⁾| T: H Main| OR: 56

17/2

Upped his game when finding only one too good on handicap debut in May. Failed to meet expectations both starts since but he's unexposed and represents an in-form yard.

Form: 965256

Forecasts

Power of Darkness (10/3), Uncle Dick (10/3), Anglo Saxson (7/2), Havana Goldrush (9/2), Racing Demon (6/1), Island Native (17/2), Blue Collar Lad (33/1)

UNCLE DICK was all the better for his reappearance when scoring at Brighton 3 weeks ago and a 2 lb rise won't prevent a very bold bid. Anglo Saxson and the class-dropping Power of Darkness are potential threats.
