Rust To Riches^t¹¹

Age: 6| Weight: 12-0| J: Ben Bromley⁽⁵⁾| T: N McCluskey| OR: 100

25/1

Showed some ability in a couple of hunters but little worthwhile form since.

Form: 5P5PP5

Call Of The Loon²⁴

Age: 12| Weight: 11-8| J: Nick Scholfield| T: Christian Williams| OR: 94| CD

4/1

Struck on debut for this yard in this race a year ago off 7 lb lower and has continued to run well in 4 starts since, second of 8 in handicap chase at Newton Abbot (25.8f, good) 24 days ago. Lots to like.

Form: 7/12-232

O'Faolains Lad^p,t²⁴

Age: 9| Weight: 11-3| J: R P McLernon| T: Mrs R Ford| OR: 89| BF

25/1

Got back on track after a wind-op when second of 5 in handicap chase at Newton Abbot but merely underlined his inconsistency there next time.

Form: UPP-326

Corrany^b³²

Age: 9| Weight: 11-1| J: Finn Lambert⁽⁵⁾| T: R T Phillips| OR: 87

10/1

Has struggled over fences lately but a return to hurdles seemed to have sparked a revival at Stratford last time. Remains to be seen whether he can back that up back in this sphere.

Form: 3P0-VP3

Sharp Note³⁷

Age: 6| Weight: 11-1| J: M G Nolan| T: J W Mullins| OR: 87| BF

7/1

Lightly raced and a different proposition on second chase start when winning 5-runner handicap at Newton Abbot, landing a few bets in the process. Well held at Southwell since but all or nothing profile makes her dangerous to dismiss.

Form: 56P-518

Cresswell Queen^h,t²⁵

Age: 8| Weight: 11-1| J: Harry Reed| T: Mrs D A Hamer| OR: 87

7/2

Stepped up on her reappearance over hurdles when getting back to winning ways in handicap chase at Newton Abbot (25.8f) in June. Again ran well when placed next 2 starts so she's respected once again.

Form: 66-5132

Chitchat Sally^v⁵

Age: 7| Weight: 10-10| J: Adam Wedge| T: L Morgan| OR: 82

50/1

Winning Irish pointer who failed to justify market prominence when well held on her chasing debut and well held over hurdles/fences both starts since. Arrives with a bit to prove.

Form: 6-124P6

Reign Suepreme^p³⁶

Age: 8| Weight: 10-9| J: James Best| T: Mrs N S Evans| OR: 81

12/1

Point winner but is a long-standing maiden under Rules, and no show at Uttoxeter 5 weeks ago.

Form: 833-53P

Humps And Bumps^b²¹

Age: 10| Weight: 10-7| J: J Kington| T: D Brooke| OR: 79

9/2

Unreliable sort who is on a long losing run. However, is finding her feet now for current connections, third of 9 in handicap chase at this course (22.6f, good to soft) 21 days ago. Worth a try at this longer trip.

Form: 206P-43

Orchestrated^p³²

Age: 12| Weight: 10-4| J: Charlie Hammond| T: M Young| OR: 76

50/1

Poor and inconsistent chaser in recent years. Easy to oppose.

Form: P/5235-P

Deadly Missile^p1³⁶

Age: 6| Weight: 10-2| J: Benjamin Poste| T: Mrs R Gasson| OR: 72| BF

11/2

Point winner who has bettered his bumper/hurdles form tackling fences first 2 starts but looked a hard ride at Uttoxeter since. Headgear on and needs to bounce back. 2 lb out of handicap.

Form: 089-524

Strictlyasoldier⁷⁷

Age: 5| Weight: 10-2| J: Ben Jones| T: Christian Williams| OR: 71

33/1

No worthwhile form over hurdles. Makes chase debut from 3 lb out of the handicap.

Form: 9/876-P7

Forecasts

Cresswell Queen (7/2), Call Of The Loon (4/1), Humps And Bumps (9/2), Deadly Missile (11/2), Sharp Note (7/1), Corrany (10/1), Reign Suepreme (12/1), O'Faolains Lad (25/1), Rust To Riches (25/1), Strictlyasoldier (33/1), Chitchat Sally (50/1), Orchestrated (50/1)

CALL OF THE LOON has held her form well since winning this last year so looks the solid option. Sharp Note is a big threat if shrugging off her latest run, with the in-form Cresswell Queen another to consider.
