Multiple hurdles winner in 2021 and showed the benefit of his reappearance spin at Uttoxeter (first run for 15 months) when going close in a Cartmel (22.1f, heavy) handicap. 4 lb higher mark to contend with on this chase debut but will be a threat if his jumping passes the test.

Preference is for GREY SKIES, who wasn't able to show what he can do upped to this trip over C&D recently (left with too much to do) and, now 2 lb lower in the weights, he is taken to regain the winning thread. Farouk de Cheneau is an obvious danger in his bid to complete the four-timer, while Any News returned to form last time and should give another good account. Jesuitique also enters calculations on his chase debut.
