Dynamic Kate^p,t⁴⁶

Age: 7| Weight: 11-6| J: Joe Anderson⁽⁵⁾| T: N P Mulholland| OR: 96WS

15/2

Scored a couple of times at Fontwell last autumn and made a promising reappearance at Ludlow in May. Failed to build on that but she's not one to write off.

Form: 121F-36

Symbolic Spirit^b1⁶⁷

Age: 6| Weight: 11-5| J: J M Quinlan| T: Miss A Murphy| OR: 95

10/1

Runner-up on Southwell handicap hurdle debut in November and back on track when sixth at Ludlow 3 months ago. Can compete if the blinkers perk him up.

Form: 32P06-V

Sheila Nash²²

Age: 8| Weight: 11-5| J: Adam Wedge| T: R T Phillips| OR: 95| CD

13/2

Won twice over C&D last summer for Harry Whittington and back on track when third here 22 days ago. Has become well treated and shouldn't be dismissed.

Form: 114P-P3

Fenney Brook³²

Age: 7| Weight: 11-2| J: R Patrick| T: H D Daly| OR: 92

20/1

Thrived latterly last year, forging clear to make it 2 wins from last 3 starts in mares' novice handicap at Ludlow (21.2f) in November. Hasn't looked in the same form this term, though.

Form: 7121-P6

Valentine Getaway⁶⁷

Age: 5| Weight: 11-1| J: R P McLernon| T: J & A O'Neill| OR: 97

8/1

Lightly-raced maiden who shaped as if better for the run when fifth of 11 in handicap hurdle at this course a couple of months ago. May yet do better on just her third handicap outing.

Form: 4543-5

Rubys Reward^h1,t²²

Age: 7| Weight: 10-5| J: Harry Cobden| T: Mrs D A Hamer| OR: 81| CD

6/5

Career best when winning 12-runner handicap hurdle at this C&D (good to soft, 9/1) 22 days ago, soon clear. Had plenty in hand and form is backed up by the time, so worth a chance to follow up in a first-time hood.

Form: 5744-21

Janeslittlevoice⁹

Age: 9| Weight: 10-2| J: James Best| T: Ella Pickard| OR: 76

33/1

Hasn't shown much form since 2020 and looks set for another struggle.

Form: P084P/U

Trickalight^p²²

Age: 7| Weight: 10-2| J: Chris Ward⁽³⁾| T: Deborah Cole| OR: 73

20/1

Irish point winner but remains with little form over hurdles. Likely to struggle again.

Form: 3/8PP-85

Blitz Spirit^b,t¹²

Age: 5| Weight: 10-2| J: Conor Ring⁽³⁾| T: Alexandra Dunn| OR: 79

40/1

Fair performer on the Flat in France but she has yet to make a meaningful impact in this sphere, so she's hard to make a case for.

Form: 3657-F6

Tre A Peni^b,t⁴⁰

Age: 6| Weight: 10-2| J: Toby Wynne⁽⁵⁾| T: O Greenall & J Guerriero| OR: 69

28/1

Hard to rely on and arrives on the back of a poor run at Uttoxeter 40 days ago. Headgear switched up again but he's up against it from out of the weights.

Form: 047-337

The Swede⁷

Age: 6| Weight: 10-2| J: Shane Quinlan⁽³⁾| T: H Brown| OR: 52

100/1

No sign of ability over hurdles to date. Best watched on handicap debut.

Form: 6806

Forecasts

Rubys Reward (6/5), Sheila Nash (13/2), Dynamic Kate (15/2), Cluain Aodha (15/2), Valentine Getaway (8/1), Symbolic Spirit (10/1), Trickalight (20/1), Fenney Brook (20/1), Tre A Peni (28/1), Janeslittlevoice (33/1), Blitz Spirit (40/1), The Swede (100/1)

RUBYS REWARD found improvement to score in ready fashion over C&D 22 days ago and she makes most appeal in the follow-up bid. Cluain Aodha is a danger back from a short break and Dynamic Kate can't be ruled out.
