May not be the force of old but his handicap mark fully reflects that and there were positives to glean from his reappearance effort Kelso in May. Still looked a shade rusty at Aintree recently and, likely to be sharper now, he's one to consider at a course where he is 1-1.

Wide-margin, all-the-way winner over C&D last summer on sole previous visit here. Returned from a break with a creditable effort at Southwell (15.8f, good) and looks set for a leading role off this 2 lb lower mark.
Not scored for some time and risky in the sense that he rarely runs two races the same nowadays. That said, he put in a good shift when runner-up at Perth (2m, good) 10 days ago and would be a live contender if in the same form here.
Headstrong sort who bagged a trio of handicap chases at Newton Abbot in 2022, the latest from a 2 lb higher mark in September. Yet to scale the same heights so far this year but this drop back in trip looks a good move and he's not discounted.
Improved form since switched to fences, off the mark on debut in this sphere at Newcastle in February and doubled his tally at Ayr (16.5f, good) on penultimate start. Too free at Cartmel last time but more needed off this mark in any case.
Fair winning hurdler/chaser in Ireland who was revitalised by current yard last year, winning 5 handicap chases on the bounce, including 3 at this course. However, failed to step up on good reappearance effort when well held at Aintree last time.
Largely below par last year but firmly back on track following a break/another wind op when notching second success here in May. Subsequently backed that up when going close over C&D off this 4 lb higher mark and she needs considering.
Hit the target off a higher mark at Southwell last June but more miss than hit since and he's 3 lb 'wrong' at the weights.

Forecasts
Sea Prince (6/4), Romanor (5/1), Sao (13/2), Whodini (7/1), Admiral's Sunset (9/1), Cracking Destiny (10/1), Blaze A Trail (11/1), Atlantic Storm (16/1)
SEA PRINCE is appealing on the back of a solid reappearance second at Southwell where he pulled clear of the rest. Fellow C&D winners Romanor and Admiral's Sunset are both feared, particularly the former who has edged back down to an attractive mark and is likely to benefit from this drop back in trip. Cracking Destiny was a winner of his sole previous start here and is also considered in a competitive handicap, along with the unreliable but capable Sao.

- Romanor5/1
