Genuine type who won 3 times last season, including this corresponding event and showed the benefit of a recent run when third in 11-runner event at Warwick (2m) 23 days ago. Likely to give another good account.

Useful Flat winner for Roger Varian but didn't quite match expectations in a trio of hurdle starts for Dan Skelton. Back on track after stable switch when winning 11-runner novice at Kempton in May and followed up under a penalty over C&D last time. More to come now handicapping.
Likeable, versatile campaigner who completed a hurdles/chase hat-trick at Wetherby (15f) in October. Added to his tally on the Flat at Thirsk in May and shaped as if still in good form at back hurdling at Bangor 2 weeks later. Nudged up 3 lb but ought to remain competitive.
Smart hurdler/chaser at his best but is becoming increasingly untrustworthy, reluctant to start and lost around 10 lengths on most recent outing at Cheltenham. Others appeal more.
Fairly useful winning hurdler in Ireland for Peter Fahey. Returns from 8 months off and market can guide now setting out for new yard. Tongue tied.
Fairly useful handicapper on Flat who struck at the third time of asking over hurdles in a Market Rasen juvenile before a respectable sixth in Anniversary Hurdle (Grade 1) at the Grand National meeting. Had little go right back down in grade at Warwick last time and remains of interest.

Father Of Jazz (2/1), Chaos Control (3/1), El Borracho (7/2), Hurricane Ali (4/1), Gumball (10/1), Esperti (28/1)
FATHER OF JAZZ was value for extra when defying a penalty in good style over C&D last month and, with further improvement on the cards now heading into handicaps, he's fancied to complete the hat-trick. Chaos Control can have his latest run at Warwick overlooked and rates the main threat, ahead of the likeable Hurricane Ali, who won this race last year from a 6 lb lower mark.
