Failed to complete both starts in points but showed some ability when third in a Stratford bumper 17 days ago. Entitled to build on that for in-form yard and bold showing anticipated.

Milan gelding who dropped away gradually when ninth in 10-runner Huntingdon bumper (15.8f) on debut in January. Possibly unsuited by racing along inside then and he may well step up here.

Papal Bull gelding. Dam, lightly raced over hurdles in France, sister to useful hurdler/smart chaser in France (17f-2¾m winner) Princesse Kap. Wears blinkers for debut and betting should guide.

Forecasts

Gregorian Diamond (8/13), Corporal Jackjones (2/1), Palawan Du Mazet (15/2)

Verdict

GREGORIAN DIAMOND represents a yard firmly amongst the winners and showed ability when third on debut in a Stratford bumper 17 days ago. Entitled to build on that, he gets the nod to come out on top, possibly at the chief expense of Corporal Jackjones. The betting should guide with debutant Palawan du Mazet.
