1/1

Best part of 3 years have passed since latest success over hurdles but won 3 times on the Flat in 2022 and found just one too good in a 19.6f handicap here (good to firm) last week. Will take plenty of stopping off the same mark.

Highland Frolic^t,v¹⁵

Age: 4| Weight: 11-7| J: Harry Cobden| T: M F Harris| OR: 106

11/4

Fairly useful form on the Flat for the Gosdens and opened hurdles account in 2m Plumpton maiden last month. Backed that up when third of 10 back in handicap company at Ludlow (15.8f, good) since, leaving the impression that he's worth another try at this sort of trip.

Form: 74721-3

Ben Bulben^t²⁸

Age: 6| Weight: 11-5| J: Conor Ring⁽³⁾| T: R L Llewellyn| OR: 96

6/1

Has posted a couple of decent efforts since going down the handicap route, including when fifth on debut for this yard at Warwick (25f, good to soft). However, will need to step up on that in order to open his account here.

Form: 2/4647-5

Awesome Foursome^t²³

Age: 6| Weight: 11-3| J: Sam Twiston-Davies| T: N & W Twiston-Davies| OR: 94

5/1

Made a winning bumper debut at Worcester last spring and best effort yet over hurdles when runner-up at Market Rasen (20.6f, soft) on penultimate start. Completely misfired next time, though, and others look more solid.

Form: 66772-0

Solid Fuel¹⁷

Age: 5| Weight: 10-2| J: James Best| T: Joanne Thomason-Murphy| OR: 67

40/1

Little impact over hurdles so far and faces another stiff task from 12 lb out of the weights here.

Form: 6PP56-0

Forecasts

Red Force One (1/1), Highland Frolic (11/4), Awesome Foursome (5/1), Sinndarella (5/1), Ben Bulben (6/1), Solid Fuel (40/1)

If in the same form as when hitting the crossbar here last week, RED FORCE ONE will prove a tough nut to crack with conditions again in his favour. Sinndarella is marginally preferred to Highland Frolic for forecast purposes.
