SISKANY and Broome fought out a fine finish in Meydan's Dubai Gold Cup last time and Charlie Appleby's likeable sort is fancied to turn the tables on Aidan O'Brien's doughty 7-y-o meeting him on 3 lb better terms here with this shorter trip also likely to suit him more. This is no two-horse race though with last year's St Leger hero Eldar Eldarov and wide-margin Lonsdale Cup winner Quickthorn also well in the mix in a fascinating Yorkshire Cup.
