Free-going sort who, in first-time hood, made a winning handicap debut at Sedgefield in February, despite not looking at home on the track. Failed to give his running up in grade at Sandown in April, but has since won at Ripon on the level. Shortlisted.
Made a winning start in handicaps at Musselburgh in February last year, but has been more miss than hit since then. After 3 months off (had a wind op), never involved when eighth of 12 at Ludlow 9 days ago. Visor now reached for.
C&D winner last June but below form on his final 2 starts in 2022 (on the Flat on first occasion). After 8 months off (had a wind op), bounced back to best on the level when runner-up in handicap at Ayr 10 days ago. Task is now to build on that effort returned to hurdling.
Flat/hurdles winner in Ireland who made a successful start for this yard in 3-runner Hexham novice in March last year. However, didn't make much of an impact in handicaps last season, running poorly after 5 months off at Wetherby in April. Cheekpieces on first time.
Made the most of a good opportunity when finally off the mark in 13-runner juvenile hurdle at Tramore last month, always holding on under hands-and-heels ride. Can make her presence felt on handicap debut.
Resumed winning ways in handicap at Musselburgh in February and ran well when making the frame in both subsequent starts, finishing with running left when fourth of 15 at Ayr last time. Leading contender.

Scots Poet (9/4), Bertie's Wish (5/2), Calico (3/1), Ballycoose (6/1), Glentruan (6/1), Well Planted (13/2), Socialist Agenda (11/1), Palm Beach (18/1)
SCOTS POET has shown improved form this year, gaining a first handicap success at Musselburgh in February and leaving the impression that he should have finished closer when fourth at Ayr last time (yet to be asked for effort when not fluent 3 out). He can see off the challenge of handicap debutante Calico, while Bertie's Wish also merits consideration.
