Off time: 16:35 | Winning time: 7m 4.39s

Billy Bronco³⁶

Age: 12| Weight: 12-2| J: Mr Nick Orpwood⁽³⁾| T: Miss E Grice| OR: 115| D

3/1

First from points, first Rules outing since leaving Dr Richard Newland when won 11-runner hunter chase at Carlisle (24.5f, soft, 22/1) 36 days ago, finding extra. Should go well again.

Form: 35-25U1

Firak^p1,t¹⁴

Age: 8| Weight: 12-2| J: Mr Sean P O'Connor⁽⁷⁾| T: N A Pearce| OR: 119| D

5/2

Winning hurdler for Dan Skelton and, having tasted success between the flags, made a winning return to Rules in a 7-runner hunter at Warwick. Not disgraced at Fakenham subsequently and should be on the premises again.

Form: P-27112

Cooking Fat⁸

Age: 12| Weight: 11-12| J: Mr Jack Holliday⁽⁷⁾| T: J C Clark| OR: 105| D

40/1

Multiple point winner but returned to Rules with a poor effort at Musselburgh 54 days ago. Ran out on latest outing between the flags and others make more appeal.

Form: P5554R

Cooldine Bog^p⁸

Age: 10| Weight: 11-12| J: Jack Stenhouse⁽⁷⁾| T: K Scott| OR: 102

33/1

Modest chaser (trained by Fergal O'Brien for the most part) who was well held between the flags recently and looks set for another struggle.

Form: 634U43

Cuneo⁸

Age: 11| Weight: 11-12| J: Mr Lyall Hodgins⁽⁷⁾| T: R Ross| OR: 112| D

28/1

Unreliable under Rules and, while he arrives on the back of success between the flags, he's hard to support with any great confidence.

Form: 42PP21

Drop Flight^h,t¹¹

Age: 8| Weight: 11-12| J: Ben Sutton⁽⁵⁾| T: S Loxton| OR: 121

7/4

Fair winning chaser in France. Has returned with a trio of placed efforts in hunters for this yard and faced a stiff task at Aintree 11 days ago. Likely to be back on his game.

Form: 98-322P

Late Romantic^p,t³⁶

Age: 13| Weight: 11-12| J: Mr H Myddelton⁽⁷⁾| T: O Greenall & J Guerriero| OR: 112| D

8/1

Useful chaser at best who wasn't disgraced when well backed for hunter debut. Went backwards from that effort at Carlisle since, though.

Form: 5/0P2-34

Tanora¹⁶

Age: 8| Weight: 11-5| J: Jack Power⁽⁷⁾| T: A C Wilson| OR: 78| D

33/1

Winning pointer who was second last time, but her Rules form is uninspiring.

Form: 2-P4P12

Tokaramore^p³⁰

Age: 11| Weight: 11-5| J: Miss Alisa McClung⁽⁷⁾| T: Miss V Renwick| OR: 94| C

22/1

Modest chaser for Iain Jardine and pulled up in a point on debut for current yard. Plenty to prove.

Form: 75359P

Forecasts

Drop Flight (7/4), Firak (5/2), Billy Bronco (3/1), Late Romantic (8/1), Tokaramore (22/1), Cuneo (28/1), Cooldine Bog (33/1), Tanora (33/1), Cooking Fat (40/1)

DROP FLIGHT showed fairly useful form when runner-up a couple of times earlier in the year and he was out of his depth last time, so he's worth a chance to get the better of Firak, who also merits plenty of respect. Recent Carlisle scorer Billy Bronco is also considered.
