Four-time winner last season, including in this race. In-and-out form this term but latest effort at this course was respectable. Not ruled out.
Returned to form when springing a minor surprise to land 6-runner event at Newcastle in November. Disappointing there next time but has had a break since.
Runner-up on his Ayr reappearance in October and best effort since when filling the same position at Carlisle last month. Return to this trip will suit and he's very much one to consider.
Likeable type who has taken well to chasing this season, winning 3 times. Pulled up at Carlisle on return last time (rider lost irons briefly early) but every chance he gets back on track and can't be ruled out.
Winner over hurdles and got back on track over fences when second at Musselburgh 47 days ago. Less exposed than the remainder and makes plenty of appeal.

Forecasts
Domandlouis (1/1), Marown (11/4), Bavington Bob (7/2), Saint Arvans (12/1), Slanelough (18/1)
DOMANDLOUIS hasn't had much racing over fences and arrives on the back of an encouraging showing, so he's marginally preferred to Marown, who shaped like a return to this trip would suit when second at Carlisle last time. Last year's winner Bavington Bob is also considered.
