Frau Georgia^p,t¹⁶⁷

Age: 9| Weight: 12-0| J: Sam Twiston-Davies| T: N P Mulholland| OR: 105| D

16/1

In good nick until beating only one after 6 months off in handicap chase at Hereford (20.9f, good to soft) 167 days ago (lost shoe). Weighted to go well if back on song after another absence.

Drop Him In¹⁹

Age: 7| Weight: 11-13| J: Lewis Stones⁽⁵⁾| T: O Murphy| OR: 104| CD

85/40

Capitalised on a reduced mark when opening his account in 9-runner handicap chase at this C&D (heavy) 19 days ago by 5½ lengths from Doyens de Ante. Sure to go well again despite 8 lb rise.

Form: 4-37U41

Dreamsundermyfeet^p⁵⁹

Age: 8| Weight: 11-12| J: B S Hughes| T: M Keighley| OR: 103| C| D

10/1

Dual chase winner last season (including here) but proving rather frustrating this term, jumping sketchily when only fair third of four at Leicester last time. Bit more needed.

Form: 3-33323

Duke Of Deception^p²¹

Age: 6| Weight: 11-11| J: Henry Brooke| T: O Greenall & J Guerriero| OR: 102| BF| D

10/3

Got off the mark in commanding fashion at Musselburgh (3m) in Feburary but only seventh of 10 in valuable handicap chase at Carlisle (24.5f, soft) 21 days ago. This is a big drop in class and he should bounce back.

Form: 362F17

Ron Burgundy^t1¹⁰⁶

Age: 6| Weight: 11-1| J: C J Todd| T: Ian Williams| OR: 92WS

10/1

Lightly-raced maiden. 33/1, ninth of 14 in handicap hurdle at Uttoxeter (23.3f, heavy) 106 days ago. Tongue strap on for 1st time. Had wind op. Lots to find on his chase debut.

Form: 254-P89

Troed Y Melin¹⁵⁷

Age: 11| Weight: 10-7| J: Bryan Carver| T: C Honour| OR: 84| D

40/1

Scored at Warwick last May but has gone the wrong way since, pulled up at Taunton in November. Lots more is needed after a break.

Form: 15P36P

Eurkash³⁴

Age: 9| Weight: 10-2| J: Liam Harrison⁽³⁾| T: P R Webber| OR: 79

6/1

Winless since 2020 but still in touch when fell 4 out in handicap chase at Plumpton (25.7f, soft) 34 days ago. No forlorn hope.

Form: 64-753F

Doyens De Ante^t¹⁹

Age: 7| Weight: 10-2| J: Charlie Hammond| T: M Young| OR: 76

9/2

Maiden hurdler but he posted a good 5½ lengths second of 9 to Drop Him In in handicap chase at this C&D (heavy) 19 days ago. That was just his second chase start so he needs considering despite being 3 lb out of the handicap.

Form: 56-5662

Forecasts

Drop Him In (85/40), Duke Of Deception (10/3), Doyens De Ante (9/2), Eurkash (6/1), Mister Tickle (8/1), Ron Burgundy (10/1), Dreamsundermyfeet (10/1), Frau Georgia (16/1), Troed Y Melin (40/1)

DROP HIM IN has steadily found his feet for Olly Murphy and is taken to defy an 8 lb rise in the weights and follow up his recent breakthrough C&D success. Doyens de Ante chased him home that day and is again fancied to fill second spot, with the handily-weighted Frau Georgia another to consider if on song.
