2/1, improved again when second of 12 in maiden at Wolverhampton (7.2f), well positioned. The third that day has won since and returning from over 4 months off, he needs taking seriously on handicap debut (also gelded in interim).
28/1, fifth of 14 in maiden at Kempton (8f) 5 months ago, left poorly placed. Looks one to keep on side now heading into handicaps so he's a must for the shortlist.
16/1, ran creditably after 5 months off when fifth of 14 in handicap at Lingfield (7f, AW) 6 days ago, staying on final 1f after short of room over 2f out. More needed from this mark, however.
Ran poorly on qualifying run when seventh of 11 in maiden (11/4) at this course (6f) 5 months ago. Significantly upped in trip for handicap debut (also had a breathing operation) so well worth a second look.
5/2, ran to a modest level when second of 9 in minor event at Redcar (7f, heavy) over 5 months ago. Could prove a different proposition now handicapping/having been gelded.
First run since leaving Joseph Patrick O'Brien when creditable second of 6 in handicap (20/1) at this course (6f) 3 months ago, having run of race. Significantly back up in trip.
Made a winning debut at this track back in September but rather underwhelming when sixth of 12 in minor event at Newmarket (7f, good to soft) 6 months ago. Back on all-weather and better showing anticipated on handicap debut.

Forecasts
Calypso (13/8), Falcon Nine (5/2), Centre Court (5/1), Tiamat (15/2), Time Traveller (15/2), Calluna (20/1), Vampire Slayer (33/1)
CALYPSO continued his race-by-race progress when finishing runner-up at Wolverhampton back in November, and with this step up to 1m holding no fears, James Ferguson's charge is fancied to go one better. He faces plenty of unexposed opposition though, with Falcon Nine, Calluna and course-winner Tiamat all capable of playing their part on handicap debut, too.
