Performed above market expectations when third on debut in an AW bumper at Lingfield in February. That was a pretty weak race, though, and it's likely that she'll need to take a considerable step forward in order to play a leading role here.

Half-sister to fairly useful hurdler Kakamora and showed promise when fifth of 11 on debut in a Uttoxeter bumper (15.8f, good to soft) during the autumn. The fourth has won since but the rest have hardly advertised that form in the intervening months and others make more appeal.

Third sole start between the flags and there were positives to glean from her Rules debut sixth in a bumper at Chepstow (2m, good to soft). In good hands and likely she will do better in time.

Strong in the betting and shaped like a ready-made future winner when runner-up starting out in a Huntingdon bumper (15.8f, good to soft) in January. The winner of that race has since performed well in listed company and she's very much the one to beat.

Kingston Hill mare. Half-sister to dual bumper winner Pop Mistress. Dam 2m-2½m hurdle/chase winner. Yard is hardly a regular source of winning newcomers but she's worth a second look in the betting nonetheless.

Cheap purchase given her pedigree but encouragement when runner-up in 2m Warwick bumper on her introduction in November. Failed to progress when fourth of 12 back from a break over the same C&D but she's one of the more appealing candidates here all the same.

Didn't create much of a first impression when beaten out of sight at Wincanton last month.

€25,000 3-y-o. Half-sister to 3 winners, including bumper winner/fair hurdler Sand Fly and bumper winner/fair hurdler All Clenched Up. Represents respected yard and interest levels will heighten if the market speaks in her favour.

The clear pick is LITTLE MISS DANTE, who fetched £100,000 as a 3-y-o and made a promising start to her career when going close at Huntingdon. Unless one of the newcomers turn out to be pretty decent, she won't need to improve upon that form to go one better here. Braunton Burrows is the most appealing of the debutantes on paper and is preferred to Rogue Queen for forecast purposes.
