Stepped up on his debut effort in no uncertain terms when landing 13-runner maiden at Doncaster (7f, heavy) 6 months ago. Looks to have a bit about him physically and but a place may be the best he can hope for here.

Lope De Vega colt who overcame inexperience to make a winning debut fitted with a tongue strap at Thirsk (7f, soft) 7 months ago, leading close home. He's sure to progress with that under his belt and has undergone a wind operation since last seen.
|
Night of Thunder colt who overcame inexperience to make a winning debut in the manner of a potentially smart colt in 14-runner novice over C&D back in November, leading approaching final 1f and soon going clear. Most exciting prospect.

4/1, ran to a similar level as on debut after 7 months off when fourth of 12 in minor event at Lingfield (8f, AW) 16 days ago. Still isn't the finished article but will need to take a sizeable step forward to feature.

€12,000 yearling, €35,000 2-y-o, Dabirsim colt. Half-brother to French 6.5f winner Donna Lepanto. Dam unraced half-sister to useful 1m winner Lamu out of useful 2-y-o 9f winner Louve Rare. Big outsider in this field.

Forecasts
Slipofthepen (4/9), Royal Rhyme (9/2), Legend Of Leros (13/2), Ensued (10/1), Azeezan (125/1)
It was hard not be taken with how SLIPOFTHEPEN routed his opposition over C&D back in November and with John & Thady Gosden's charge destined for much better things (holds plenty of fancy entries, including in The Derby), he's strongly fancied to make it 2-2. Royal Rhyme made a winning start at Thirsk in September, so he's put forward as the main threat on the back of a breathing operation, with Legend of Leros next on the list.
