Ferry Ales Brewery Mares' Maiden Hurdle (GBB Race)

Off time: 13:35 | Winning time: 4m 11.80s

Bizzy Moon¹⁴²

Age: 5| Weight: 11-6| J: Harry Skelton| T: D Skelton

11/2

Half-sister to useful hurdler Molly Ollys Wishes and bumper winner/fairly useful hurdler Olly The Brave. 25/1, green in Chepstow bumper in November. Yard have enjoyed success with this family and this isn't a strong race she begins over hurdles in.

Bushtucker Park¹²

Age: 5| Weight: 11-6| J: S Bowen| T: O Murphy

2/1

Shaped like a stayer in a bumper and given a considerate introduction to hurdling after 9 weeks off back at Huntingdon recently. Open to improvement and this isn't a strong race.

Form: 73

Courtney Silver⁷²

Age: 5| Weight: 11-6| J: Charlie Hammond| T: A Carson

14/1

Modest form at best in bumpers, albeit probably flattered in listed race at Huntingdon on debut. Work to do now hurdling.

Form: 669

Diana Prince³⁹⁹

Age: 7| Weight: 11-6| J: Tom Midgley⁽⁵⁾| T: P T Midgley

40/1

Half-sister to fairly useful hurdler/chaser Talktomenow (3m-3¼m winner, by Shirocco). Winning pointer, failed to complete last 3 starts (latest Mar 6). Suspect she'll need more time over jumps.

Form: RFP-

Princess Poppy⁶⁷

Age: 5| Weight: 11-6| J: W T Kennedy| T: O Murphy

3/1

Held in bumper/Exeter mares' maiden hurdle for Gary Moore. Likely to need more time.

Form: 77

Miss Blennerhasset¹⁷

Age: 4| Weight: 10-12| J: Aaron Anderson⁽⁵⁾| T: M E Sowersby

22/1

Fair maiden on Flat for Ralph Beckett. Offered little sent hurdling after 7 months off at Sedgefield a fortnight ago.

Form: 4

Three Macks³¹

Age: 4| Weight: 10-12| J: Cian Chester⁽¹⁰⁾| T: C E Longsdon| OR: 92

3/1

Fair maiden on the Flat up to 7f for Andrew Oliver and has taken to hurdling pretty well for new yard, no extra only from 2 out having taken a clear lead at Wincanton last month. Could be the way to go.

Form: 34

Forecasts

Bushtucker Park (2/1), Three Macks (3/1), Princess Poppy (3/1), Bizzy Moon (11/2), Courtney Silver (14/1), Miss Blennerhasset (22/1), Diana Prince (40/1)

A race which is unlikely to take much winning and THREE MACKS looks the way to go having shown plenty again from the front under her young rider at Wincanton. Bizzy Moon, from a family the Skelton yard has done well with, is very interesting in this company. Bushtucker Park could also figure.
