From the family of very smart chaser Hammersly Lake and having shown plenty in points promises to do better over fences judged by his good second at Chepstow (19.4f) 3 weeks ago. Big shout in what looks a weak contest.

On a long losing run but went very close over hurdles at Wincanton early last month and ran respectably over fences there on Wednesday. Respected.
Scored in 19.2f Exeter handicap chase in December 2021 but well beaten in 2 runs this season.
Won Chepstow handicap hurdle early last year but hasn't really fired since, including on recent chase bow there. Stiffer test on this ground should suit.
Winning Irish pointer but yet to show much under Rules, including on chase debut when last seen in October.
Won Bangor handicap chase in the mud in January 2021 but looks to retain little ability, tailed off again at Sedgefield a fortnight ago.
Fortunate winner at Taunton on chase debut a year ago but hasn't been able to match that form since. Cheekpieces go on.

KAP CHIDLEY made a very promising start over fences at Chepstow 3 weeks ago and is hard to get away from here with the prospect of more to come. Begin The Luck could be the danger.
