3/1

Lightly-raced under NH rules. Career best when winning 8-runner handicap hurdle at this course (16.2f, good to soft, 6/1) 13 days ago by ½ length from Chantilly Haze. Shortlist material.

Lady Pacifico^v¹⁵

Age: 5| Weight: 11-4| J: Tabitha Worsley⁽³⁾| T: D Weston| OR: 90

9/1

Made a winning start over hurdles at Leicester (2m) last season but record has been distinctly patchy since. Latest third at Warwick was a bit better but she needs to build on it.

Form: 5-6P843

Kalpaga⁴⁴

Age: 6| Weight: 11-4| J: Alan Johns| T: Tim Vaughan| OR: 90

9/1

French import who posted her best effort for current yard when third of 10 in handicap hurdle over C&D in February. Failed to build on that, to put it mildly, at Taunton next time, though, and it's probably best to look elsewhere.

Form: 45-0P30

Treyarnon Bay⁴²

Age: 5| Weight: 11-4| J: N de Boinville| T: N J Henderson| OR: 90

7/1

Bumper winner who hasn't offered much over hurdles but could prove a different proposition now handicapping off a low mark.

Form: 2-1744

Mrs Kinsella^t⁸⁷

Age: 7| Weight: 11-2| J: Caoilin Quinn⁽⁵⁾| T: R Potter| OR: 88

11/1

Modest ex-Irish maiden hurdler who showed nothing in 2 starts for Billy Aprahamian. Off 87 days and has joined another new yard, so she's worth close observation in the betting.

Form: 0400-08

Sindabella^p,t¹⁷

Age: 7| Weight: 10-9| J: Tom Buckley⁽³⁾| T: N J Hawke| OR: 81

7/1

Some decent efforts to her name over hurdles but has been struggling for form of late (over fences last time). Tongue strap is back on.

Form: 62P5P4

Bella Ciao¹³

Age: 6| Weight: 10-8| J: Sam Twiston-Davies| T: M Keighley| OR: 80

50/1

Has achieved precious little to date and was pulled up here last time. Plenty to prove.

Form: 30874P

Chantilly Haze^p¹³

Age: 8| Weight: 10-2| J: Conor Ring⁽³⁾| T: P C Dando| OR: 74

4/1

Poor maiden who, having attracted support, returned to form when second to I Giorni here last time. Not sure to back it up.

Form: 55-3782

Happy Returns³⁶

Age: 6| Weight: 10-2| J: James Best| T: N P Mulholland| OR: 73

40/1

Yet to show anything better than poor form over hurdles.

Form: 0-679F

Saddlers Quest²⁴

Age: 9| Weight: 10-2| J: Ben Jones| T: Mrs D A Hamer| OR: 72

11/2

Poor maiden who looks set for another struggle from out of the weights.

Form: 036-756

Non-Runners

Nell's Bells¹⁴

Weight: 12-0| Age: 7

T: D McCain Jnr J: Non Runner

Sadie Hill¹⁰⁰

Weight: 11-7| Age: 6

Forecasts

I Giorni (3/1), Chantilly Haze (4/1), Nell's Bells (5/1), Saddlers Quest (11/2), Sindabella (7/1), Treyarnon Bay (7/1), Kalpaga (9/1), Lady Pacifico (9/1), Mrs Kinsella (11/1), Sadie Hill (16/1), Happy Returns (40/1), Bella Ciao (50/1)

I GIORNI impressed with the way she travelled when making a successful handicap debut here and, with the scope for better still, she's fancied to go in again. Treyarnon Bay looks an interesting handicap debutante for a top yard and Mrs Kinsella is interesting starting out for a new yard.
