Fairly useful dual bumper winner who went very close to opening his hurdles account in 14-runner maiden at Kilbeggan (19f) on his final outing for Emmet Mullins in September. Fitted with a first-time tongue strap and sets the standard.

CARRAREA sets a clear standard on the form he showed in Ireland for Emmet Mullins, so there's no real urge to oppose him in a maiden lacking depth. Gaelic Park can provide the main threat if bouncing back from a couple of lesser efforts. Morning Line ought to prove capable of better and is the pick of the remainder.
