Rouge De L'quest⁴¹

Age: 7| Weight: 11-12| J: S Bowen| T: Miss R Curtis| OR: 105| D

9/4

Winning pointer who failed to build on earlier promise when fourth of six in 23f Bangor handicap last month, making mistakes. Not ruled out if he can jump better here.

Form: 31-7434

Jasmiwa⁴⁶

Age: 5| Weight: 11-12| J: Sam Twiston-Davies| T: N & W Twiston-Davies| OR: 105| D

11/4

Much improved on her handicap bow when getting off the mark at Ffos Las (23.9f) in December. Looked the type to progress further but she jumped sketchily when only fourth at Hereford last month. Shouldn't be written off.

Form: 64-4414

Walkinthewoods¹⁸

Age: 6| Weight: 11-0| J: Isabel Williams⁽³⁾| T: Evan Williams| OR: 93| C

5/2

Off the mark at Chepstow (2m) in October and got right back on track when second of 12 in 2m4f Ffos Las handicap 18 days ago, faring best of those held up. Up 2 lb but still firmly in the picture.

Forecasts

Rouge De L'quest (9/4), The Imposter (9/4), Walkinthewoods (5/2), Jasmiwa (11/4), Stellar Stream (10/3), Our Bill's Aunt (4/1), Leading Swoop (4/1)

A case can be made for all of these but STELLAR STREAM is still hard to pass over given he looks to have got in on an attractive mark for his handicap debut following a ready success at Hereford. Leading Swoop arrives on the back of a good Fontwell second (form worked out well) so is feared most in his bid for a breakthrough success ahead of in-form duo Walkinthewoods and Our Bill's Aunt.
