Showed ability when fourth of 15 in a heavy-ground Ffos Las maiden (15.8f) on second start but raced lazily and looked hard ride at Taunton (16.5f, soft) last time. Opening mark looks stiff and he's best watched upped in trip.

Been a while since this twenty-race maiden has threatened to get his head in front, refusing to settle under this inexperienced conditional at Ludlow last time. Up in trip and on a nice mark based on best efforts but has bit to prove at present.

Good second at Hereford (25.5f) on penultimate start, outstayed having pressed on soon enough under this rider. Perhaps found race coming too soon a fortnight later and he looks up to winning from this kind of mark.

Useful winner in bumpers who showed promise when runner-up on first 2 starts over hurdles. Jumping has proven his downfall on both starts in handicaps so far but he's clearly thought capable of progressing beyond this mark. Could be worth chancing in first-time cheekpieces.

Returned from 9-month absence when creditable fourth of 10 in handicap hurdle at Hereford in January. Failed to build on that last time and now has cheekpieces applied.

Went wrong way for Philip Hobbs and hasn't shown much in a pair of starts for this yard since returning from 15-month absence. Hard to fancy.

Runner-up twice in novice hurdles last term but could barely have shown any less in handicaps this season. Goes up markedly in trip.

Losing run stretches back to early-2020 and has pulled up in handicap chases on his last 2 outings, so he looks opposable again switched back to smaller obstacles.

Getupearly appeals as the biggest danger on the form of his Hereford second, with Glance From Clover taken to complete the placings.
