Off the mark first time up over fences in October and firmly back on track when adding to that at Ffos Las (21f). Excellent neck second at Plumpton next time and better than the bare result at Lingfield (28.8f) since (capitulated late). Can bounce back.

Showed little over hurdles but proved an entirely different proposition over fences, 2-2 here before making it 3-3 in good style in a Ffos Las handicap last winter. Pulled up on 3 subsequent outings, though, including on comeback at Haydock (found to be lame in the Eider 10 months earlier).

Point, bumper and hurdle winner. Improved effort over fences when going close over 3¼m here in January and shaped as if still in form when fourth at Chepstow. However, produced a thoroughly laboured effort at Doncaster 19 days ago. Change of headgear.

Arrives on the back of 4 successive runner-up efforts, albeit blowing a good opportunity in a match event at Musselburgh latest. May find one too good again.

Veteran who was still capable of fairly useful form over fences around 3m for Nicky Henderson last season. Well held both starts this campaign for this yard, however. Change of headgear.

Losing run is mounting up but still competitive off reduced mark, left with plenty to do when third of 14 in handicap chase (17/2) at Ffos Las (23.8f, good to soft) 17 days ago.

Well held last 4 starts, including both outings after nearly 2 years off at Plumpton.
