Third in last year's Eider and back to form from much-reduced mark when landing weak conditionals' veterans' handicap at Hereford. Good second off the same mark at Wetherby 2 weeks ago but 3 lb higher this time.
Recorded his third win of the season here when easily defying a 5 lb rise over this trip 3 weeks ago so holds obvious claims despite going up another 8 lb.
Winning pointer who looked a different proposition when scoring easily on chase debut in novice handicap here in December. Followed that with a good second upped to 22.3f at Kelso (heavy) but disappointed at Newcastle 7 weeks ago. Worth another chance.
C&D winner who wasn't disgraced when 13 lengths third of 7 to Sublime Heights in handicap chase at this C&D (good to soft, 5/1) 22 days ago. 11 lb better off with him here at least.

Old Painless (6/4), Sublime Heights (2/1), Innisfree Lad (9/2), Tommie Beau (5/1), Eureka Creek (8/1)
OLD PAINLESS disappointed at Newcastle last time but is worth another chance back from a break given the highly promising start he made in this sphere. Sublime Heights is establishing an excellent record around here and is the obvious threat as he bids for the hat-trick.
