Top-class chaser. Course winner. 22/1, 14¾ lengths fourth of 7 to Galopin Des Champs in Irish Gold Cup at Leopardstown (24.2f, good to soft) 44 days ago. Hard to beat.
Smart chaser. 15/2, creditable fifth of 15 in handicap chase at Newbury (26f, good) 114 days ago, ridden too aggressively. Down in trip and cheekpieces back on.
Useful chaser. 1 win from 3 runs this season. Latest win in chase at Punchestown in May. Fell in handicap chase at Listowel (24f, good, 15/2) won by Busselton last time. Opposable.
Fairly useful chaser. C&D winner. 3 wins from 5 runs this season. 20/1, good second of 10 in handicap chase at Gowran (20f, heavy) 30 days ago, suited by way race developed. Very tough task on these terms.
Useful chaser. Course winner. Career best when winning 6-runner minor event chase (7/2) at Fairyhouse (23.6f, good to soft) 40 days ago, driven out. Should make his presence felt.

Forecasts
Any Second Now (5/4), Velvet Elvis (11/4), Busselton (7/2), Fire Attack (6/1), Hurricane Darwin (40/1)
This is clearly on the sharp side for ANY SECOND NOW in what is presumably his final prep run before another tilt at the Grand National. That said, he managed to win over 2m here when warming up for the 2021 Aintree spectacular and should prove much too good for his rivals on these advantageous terms. Velvet Elvis was impressive at Fairyhouse last time and gets the nod ahead of Busselton for forecast purposes.
