Cazoo Novices' Hurdle (GBB Race)

Made winning start when edging out Tahmuras in a Ffos Las bumper in February and looked a good prospect when maintaining his unbeaten record on hurdling debut there (15.8f, soft) 10 months on. Excellent second to aforementioned rival in the Tolworth and that easily the best form on offer.

Mahler gelding. Half-brother to bumper winner/fairly useful hurdler Dollys Destination. Dam (h85) bumper winner. Tongue tied and just minor promise both starts.

Looked limited in 6 starts for Ben Lund.

Placed in points and showed something to work on when third in a bumper at Exeter on Rules debut. Failed to repeat that effort at Chepstow and looks a handicap project under Rules.

€105,000 3-y-o, Shirocco gelding. Half-brother to useful hurdler Oscar Elite. Made plenty of appeal on paper but tongue tied and showed little in a Southwell bumper in January. Up in trip for hurdles debut.

Off mark in points at second attempt in May and shaped well switched to Rules when third in a Chepstow bumper in November, rallying from 3f out. Not at the same level both starts over hurdles since.

Gemix gelding. Unseated rider on hurdles debut but offered much more when third at Ludlow in January, headed entering straight but rallying. In good hands and he may yet have more to offer.

Third in a bumper at Wincanton in November but little short-term promise switched to hurdling at Chepstow. Since left Anthony Honeyball.

Sister to fairly useful hurdler/useful chaser Yalltari. Placed in 2 of her 3 bumpers and type to do better over jumps.

Well beaten in 2 bumpers and a maiden hurdle.
