Three-time hurdle winner (at up to 19f). Form tailed off last spring but confirmed his mark a competitive one with a smashing third on return in Lanzarote Hurdle (21f) in January. Did too much too soon at Carlisle last month so that run can be excused.

Smart Flat stayer who impressed when winning first 2 starts over hurdles last term prior to struggling in Grade 1 company at the big spring festivals. Shaped as though amiss on January's return in a Kempton handicap hurdle and failed to convince over fences at Catterick.

C&D novice winner on second hurdles start in December and he defied a penalty a Wetherby a month later, digging deep under pressure despite a slightly high head carriage. More needed from this mark but he's in top hands.

Scored twice as a novice and all the better for his reappearance effort when digging deep to land Wetherby handicap (21.2f) on Boxing Day. Nothing wrong with a brace of in-frame efforts since and he's likely to give it another good go from the front.

Another from his in-form yard who has bounced back this season, making a winning reappearance at Lingfield (19.5f, soft) in November, forging clear. Beaten by more than 5 lb higher mark at Kempton a month later.

Enhanced his impressive strike rate after 18 months off in 7-runner handicap chase at Hereford (20.9f) in December. Never looked comfortable following early blunder at Sandown and lower hurdles mark does look justified.

Landed a Ffos Las maiden in February 2022 but has been held back by his jumping since. This trip more suitable than 3m at Cheltenham on New Year's Day.

Did well over fences last season, scoring at Ffos Las and Plumpton. However, has now failed to complete on 3 of his last 4 starts over the larger obstacles so he has a lot to prove at present. Blinkers replace cheekpieces.

Fairly useful winning hurdler/chaser at up to 2½m in France in 2021 but has offered little in 3 starts for current yard.

One-time useful hurdler but hasn't appeared to retain much ability this term. Yard going better now and clearly dangerous to rule him out from this much-reduced mark.

UP FOR PAROL can be excused his Carlisle performance with his 10 lb conditional doing too much too soon, and with Gavin Sheehan back on, he looks the way to go given his third-placed finish in the Lanzarote is very appealing form at this level. Hitching Jacking chases a hat-trick and has to command respect, with Limited Reserve one to keep an eye on from his much-reduced mark.
