Dual-point winner who bagged 4 of his first 5 starts under Rules, including pair of small-field handicap chases around 3m last season. Off 10 months before good third in 3m handicap at Ayr in January but never looked like justifying support at Haydock. No surprise cheekpieces are reached for.
Returned to form when taking 7-runner handicap chase at Wetherby (24.2f, soft) in December and creditable second at Doncaster next time. Only eighth back up in class at Uttoxeter since but this more her level.
Four-time winner last season (including twice here) and he took a step back in the right direction when second of 4 in 23f Kelso handicap in January. Posted wide fitted with blinkers in the Eider here 3 weeks ago and was never really a threat.
Veteran chaser who scored twice at Haydock last season. Well held since, however, and he looks a declining force aged 14.
Useful stayer over hurdles and produced best effort over fences when third in 27.6f Market Rasen handicap on Boxing Day. Better than the result in the Grand National Trial since and he remains one to be positive about.
Yard have hit form and he's run well in second at Market Rasen the last twice, pulling clear of the remainder last month. This is a deeper race but he clearly arrives in good order.
Low-mileage winning hurdler and confirmed the promise of his chase debut when landing 6-runner handicap at Ayr in January. Held back by a couple of mistakes back at that venue last month (also lost a shoe) so could be worth another chance back up in trip.
Progressed very well over fences during 2020/21 campaign, notably finishing fourth in that season's Scottish Grand National. Has subsequently failed to reproduce that level of form but mark continues to fall at least.
Took well to fences last season, winning brace of small-field handicaps. Looked rusty when fifth on return at Carlisle (26f) in October and has been let down by jumping over marathon trips both starts since.
C&D winner. Finished runner up on 4 of his 6 starts last season and back to best when filling same spot at Wetherby (3m) on return in October. Has shaped as if in reasonable heart of late, albeit not really threatening when third back at that venue a month ago.

Forecasts
Geryville (9/2), Cash To Ash (5/1), Donna's Double (6/1), Burrows Diamond (7/1), Small Present (7/1), The Ferry Master (17/2), Omar Maretti (9/1), Niceandeasy (11/1), Bavington Bob (11/1), Blaklion (22/1)
There's an air of unfinished business surrounding SMALL PRESENT as a staying chaser and with his Haydock run easy to excuse, he looks the way to go. Geryville arrives on the back of a brace of wins and he's a threat, while Omar Maretti could be dangerous if reacting positively to headgear.
- Geryville9/2
- Omar Maretti9/1
