Guinness Cold Brew Coffee Handicap Hurdle

Has won 2 small-field handicaps since joining this yard, the latter over C&D 3 weeks ago. 5 lb rise means a clear career best will likely be needed to follow up.

One-time useful hurdler who has been seen out sparingly in the last couple of years. Well held both starts for new yard in recent months. Has cheekpieces on for the first time over jumps. Could only consider if the subject of market support.

As good as ever when narrowly denied on 2m Wetherby reappearance in October. Went backwards from that when a well-held fifth at Haydock the following month but he's been freshened up since and has a good record when partnered by Brian Hughes.

Dual novice hurdle winner last season and got off the mark in handicaps at the second attempt with a taking success at Wetherby (2m again) on his reappearance. Too free when well held at Musselburgh and Kelso since but a first-time hood might help him to settle better. Respected.

Now 8 lb lower than when scoring over C&D at this time last year but there's no obvious sign he's ready to take advantage, finishing 9¾ lengths third of 4 to reopposing Stainsby Girl here last time.

Back to his best when gaining his first success for current connections at Kelso in January. Creditable fourth (Lebowski behind) of 15 in ultra-competitive Morebattle Hurdle at Kelso last time. Should go well again for his in-form stable.

Won C&D maiden and 2m Haydock novice towards the end of 2022. Disappointed when stepped up to 2½m in a Cheltenham Grade 2 since but capable of bouncing back now switching to a handicap.

Fair winning hurdler/chaser for David Cottin in France in 2020. Absent for a whopping 892 days ahead of this stable debut. Can only be watched.
