George Rickards Birthday Mares' Handicap Hurdle

Won twice over hurdles (both at around 2m) last season. Failed to take to chasing but bounced back to her best returned to hurdling when second in 5-runner handicap at Southwell (15.8f) 81 days ago. Respected back up in trip.

Won 3 times last term, including at Kempton on final start. Not disgraced at Huntingdon last time but mark appears to sum her up.

Fairly useful hurdle/chase winner in France and gained her first British success when scoring in handicap hurdle at Haydock in December. failed to beat a rival at Exeter subsequently.

Fairly useful winning hurdler who made mistakes before falling 2 out in handicap chase at Uttoxeter on debut over fences/return. Poor efforts sicne and others make more appeal.

Fair form in Ireland and made a positive start for her current yard when second in a handicap hurdle at Bangor in October. Disappointed at Sandown next time and has had a break since.

Likeable sort who made it two from her last three at Hereford last time. Should go well again.

Runner-up completed start in Irish points before game winner of a Market Rasen mares' maiden hurdle on Rules debut. Ran to a similar level when second of 11 in Huntingdon novice since. Opening mark not obviously generous but she has potential as an unexposed type.

Promising type who has come in second in novice company at Carlisle and Market Rasen this winter. Seemed amiss at Kempton last time but too soon to write off.

Career best when winning 8-runner handicap hurdle (7/2) at Newbury (24.2f, good to firm) 11 days ago, kept up to work. Carries penalty. Likely to go well again.

Showed fair form when reaching the frame in a couple of bumpers and has shown promise without qutie matching that form over hurdles so far. Open to improvement on handicap debut.
